How EdChat learns your weak topics

Quizzes, flashcards, interviews, and DSA practice feed one mastery profile.

Updated 14 July 2026

Everything you practise in EdChat feeds a single topic mastery profile:

  • Quizzes — per-topic accuracy on submitted quizzes.
  • Flashcards — your Again/Hard/Good/Easy ratings.
  • Interviews — per-topic scores from mock-interview feedback.
  • DSA practice — results from coding practice sessions.

Mastery is a running average that weights recent performance more than old results, so improvement shows up quickly and a bad day doesn't haunt you forever.

What it changes

  • Weak topics are surfaced in study plans and daily study flows, which allocate more time to them.
  • New quizzes and practice sets bias toward topics you're struggling with when you ask for revision.

Resetting

There's no manual reset — mastery adjusts automatically as you keep practising. If you want a fresh start on a topic, just keep answering; recent results dominate.
