Revision scheduling
Why cards and topics come back when they do.
Updated 14 July 2026
EdChat schedules revision using spaced repetition: material returns just before you're likely to forget it.
- Each flashcard has its own review date based on your last rating — Again brings a card back within the session, Easy pushes it days or weeks out.
- Intervals grow each time you rate a card Good or Easy, and shrink when you miss.
- Daily study flows include due reviews alongside new material.
Making it work
- Rate honestly — the schedule is only as good as your ratings.
- Short daily sessions beat long weekly ones; the algorithm assumes regular practice.
- Skipped days aren't a problem: due cards simply queue until you return.
