- From the sidebar, choose New chat.
- (Optional) Pick a mode — Fast for quick answers, Thinking for tougher problems, or a dedicated study tool like Quiz or Planner. See Fast vs Thinking.
- Type your question and press Send.
Make prompts work harder
- Be specific: "Explain Kirchhoff's voltage law with one solved example for Class 12" beats "explain KVL".
- Ask for a format: tables, step-by-step derivations, or a summary at the end.
- Follow up in the same chat — EdChat keeps the conversation context.
Attach files
Use the attach button to add PDFs, images, or text documents. EdChat reads them and answers using your material — useful for solving from your own worksheets or notes.
Organise your chats
Every chat is saved to your history automatically and can be renamed or deleted from the sidebar. For quick questions you don't want saved, use a Temporary Chat.
